We have had such a busy time already in Term 2. We have been learning lots of new things and having such great fun in Aistear.

Africa

We have been learning all about Africa in class. We learned all about the lion family and lots of different facts about African life. In our creative station in Aistear, we made lots of Safari animals and also a paper plate lion. We really enjoyed this activity.

In Small World play, we used Lego Duplo to create a safari park. 

The Vets

We were learning all about the important role that a vet plays. The vet has an important job and looks after all the sick animals. We had a lot of sick animals in our class over the last few weeks and we were lucky to have lots of capable vets to help look after the animals and to help them on the road to recovery.

We also had fun cutting and sticking animals together and we played a bingo game based on vets and animals.
