Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from all the boys and girls in Seomra 2! We have had great fun over the last few weeks completing lots of gorgeous Halloween themed artwork. We learned all about Halloween traditions in Ireland and sang some Halloween songs.
Our last day of term was filled with creepy creatures and spooky characters! We had a great afternoon full of games - check out some pictures from our game 'Wrap the Mummy'.

Have a super midterm break!😀

Oíche Shamhna Shona Daoibh

It has been a fang-tastic final few days in Room 1.
The children learned about Halloween traditions in Ireland, created spooky mosaic art work, sang Halloween songs and dressed up as all sorts of scary creatures on Fancy Dress Day.
Ms Martin wishes the pupils and their families a fab-boo-lous Halloween break!
Check out our spooktakular masterpieces and costumes below!

Ms Martin can't wait to have her class group back after mid-term, she was very scared by all of their terrifying costumes!

Room 1 - The Construction Site

2nd and 3rd Class have been very busy working on 'Construction' as part of the 'Visual Arts' programme this month.

The children used recyclable materials to plan, design and create a local facility. After constructing the buildings, it was time to add colour using paint. The boys and girls loved using their artistic skills during these lessons.

Ms Martin was blown away by the children's imagination and creativity. Check out the builders in action and the finished products below!

P.S. Ms Martin and the pupils want to say a big 'Thank You' to all families who sent in recyclables with the children and made our 'Mini Moynalty' village possible!
