Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week) is an international Irish language festival and one of the biggest celebrations of our native language and culture that takes place each year in Ireland and in many other countries.
Seomra 2 had an action packed week during this year's 'Seachtain na Gaeilge'. We learned a dance called 'An Dréoilín', played 'Biongó Gaeilge', céilí danced to 'Ballaí Luimnigh', made fabulous St. Patrick's Day badges as well as performing a song called 'Nead na Lachan' to the whole school. Each boy and girl worked extremely hard throughout the week which then ended on a huge high with our annual 'Lá Glas'.

Ms Malone is extremely proud of everyone's efforts and would love for you all to check out how our week went below! 😀
