Happy Easter to all the boys, girls, teachers and parents in Seomra a dó. We have had an eggs-tra exciting few days this week to end our term. The children hopped out the classroom door with smiles on their faces and eggs under their bonnets with excitement.
We created the cutest chicks this week using orange and yellow crepe paper, learned all about Holy Week and completed an Easter Kahoot! quiz as part of our homework to celebrate Easter. We wore yellow and orange on Friday to mark 'Daffodil Day' and really got into the Easter and spring colours. Ms Malone and Ms Martin are so proud of the generosity displayed and donations given by their class groups - Maith sibh! Have a look at all our sp'egg'tacular work below.
Ms Malone and all the children celebrated the end of term with an Easter Party as a result of the children collecting all ten eggs in their Easter basket. It was a brilliant morning full of chicks, hot chocolate and plenty of yummy eggs. We had a cracking time! 😅
