The
children in Room 1 thoroughly enjoyed the first few days of the new school
year. The boys and girls were delighted to see all their friends after the summer holidays. It was a busy couple of days catching up with one and other,
revising school rules and importantly, playing together
again.

On the first day back after the holidays, Ms Martin and the children introduced themselves and shared summer news before completing an excellent written activity displayed below.
During an Art lesson, the boys and girls coloured beautiful designs on t-shirt templates. They all look tee-rrific!
The children started to learn about the topic 'Myself and My Family' during Aistear this week. They appear to be especially enjoying the role-play area. Check it out below!

Martin is so impressed with the children's neat handwriting, superstar colouring and brilliant behaviour so far this year! She loves seeing all the smiling faces of each
child coming into school every day.
