Grandparents Day in Junior Infants
Here in Scoil Mhuire we celebrated
Grandparents Day as part of Catholic Schools Week. Junior Infants were so excited to have their
Grannies and Grandads come in for a little visit. We made some special handprint cards for them
which were very much appreciated! During
the visit, we played some interactive games on the IWB, we read stories
together and we made some things with the activities. It was such a lovely afternoon! Our Grannies
and Grandads enjoyed a cup of tea and some biscuits and a chat with other
grandparents before they went home. It
was a really special day!
