Our super sixth class said farewell on Wednesday June 23rd. Before they left they wrote a few words about their time in Scoil Mhuire Moynalty.
We are so
exited to move on to secondary school but we are very sad to be leaving behind
all of the amazing memories and fantastic friends we all made since joining the
school in 2013. We are exited to be starting a new chapter in our lives joining
a much bigger and very different school. Covid-19 did make us miss a lot of our
last year in 6th but we are very happy with the time we had in Scoil
Mhuire Moynalty.

The past
eight years of primary flew by and we can’t believe were already in sixth
class. We made many friends over the years. We are very excited to be going to
secondary school but also a bit nervous. We will miss Scoil Mhuire Moynalty, we
had so many memories. We will miss the teachers and staff and we are thankful
for the education they have taught us. We are looking forward to starting a new
chapter in our lives, joining a much bigger and different school.

It has been
an amazing couple of years at school it’s hard to believe it’s coming to an
end. We will never forget the pupils of Scoil Mhuire Moynalty. We want to thank
all the teachers especially Ms Rafferty and Ms Ward. We made great memories
with all our friends. We are going to miss the Astro pitch and the football
pitch as well. Even though Covid-19 has been a pain, we are really excited to
go on to Secondary School and wish our friends the best of luck.
Thank you,

Our time in
this school has brought us many great memories. We really can’t get over the
fact that we are in sixth class. We have made many friendships that will last
for years to come. We would like to thank all the staff for everything they
have done for us. Now that we are leaving, we really hope that we have as much
fun in our new schools as we did here. Even though Covid-19 brought many
challenges the staff all still found a way to make our last few months amazing.
We would like to thank all the staff along with Denise for the impact they have
had on all of our lives. We will miss you all and we wish you along with our
classmates the best of luck.

The last 8
years of primary school have been good craic. We started in junior infants as
little 5-year-olds and we are leaving as 12 and 13 year olds! We have all been
best friends ever since we started school and we have so many memories we can’t
even name them all! We cannot believe the 8 years are over but there are so many
memories to make! All the teachers have been great and we will miss our class so
much. We want to wish all our class best of luck in secondary school.

Over and
out! 😊
When I
first came to Scoil Mhuire I was very shy, like I hid behind my Mom when I
first came into the school. I don’t really remember junior infants but I knew
that I was different to everyone else. Later in my fifth class year the school
integrated an autistic unit and I was able to join the star class.
It feels
weird knowing that I only have a few days left in this school so I’m going to
make the most of it. Also because everyone is their own ticking time bomb.
Whoever is reading this I hope you enjoyed the school.

This 8 years of Scoil Mhuire have been a roller-coaster of emotions, Adventures and so much more. When we first came to Scoil Mhuire, We were so nervous and scared, It was a whole new place. And to think we have a couple of days left is just, surprising. Really. I can still remember myself in Junior Infants walking in and seeing all the colourful work and the Astro at the back. We were so excited and now its only down to a couple days.
We will
miss Scoil Mhuire so so much and we will never forget the amazing, unforgettable
time we had here and we hope the future students will have the same amazing
experience as we did.
We wish all
the staff and students good luck for the future.
